Paint a New World

Painting a New World is a competition created so you can express your views on gender-based violence through art. You can participate with your poems, posters, drawings or messages by submitting your work to the address pintafuturu@gmail.com until December 4. The winners will have their submissions displayed in campaign materials at the march.

Competition guidelines

• Every Timorese, with residence in Timor-Leste, is eligible to participate in the contest;
• All submissions should include the proposed text or image, name and phone number of the contestant;
• All submissions must be sent by email to the address pintafuturu@gmail.com;
• You can submit your application until 11:59 pm of December 4, 2023;
• The competition jury can choose up to 4 winners;
• Winners will be announced on the 5th of December;
• The winners’ submissions will be displayed in various supports in the march, including t-shirts, banners, flags or pins;
• The winners will be contacted to receive items produced with their submissions at the beginning of the march.

Submission instructions

Your submission should include information about the participant: First and last name, age, and phone number.
The file submitted should not exceed 10 Mb.

Don’t forget that only submissions until 11:59 p.m. (Díli local time), December 4, 2023, will be considered valid.
